Happenings

Has it been a Year already? It has? Oh my! I can't believe my baby girl is 1!
Oh my sweet little Emersyn! We love you so much. You are such a bright and fun little girl. So cuddly, so content, so happy, so full of smiles...everything about you brightens our lives. This last year has brought us even more happiness than we thought we could have. I can remember the night before I went in to have you I was crying because I didn't feel prepared to have two children. Who knew that having you would be even easier than 1? Your mommy and daddy and sister...and EVERYONE that has ever met you loves you very much! Happy Birthday little babe!
Here she is opening a present from Grandma Boise...books. Thanks grandma and Nanny for the books, and thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wall for the money, and Gayle and Charlie for the clapper and money, and Cory and Kristen for the Card and money, and everyone who came and showed support. She really loves the presents, and the books especially. There is nothing she likes better than to read.
You may notice in this picture her little wrapped hand...so sad. Friday night Emi burnt her hand very badly. She has had to have some treatment, and is now going to wound care in the hospital to make sure everything will turn out OK. It's hard to see her in such pain. On sunday when the doctor was cleaning the wound, she was thrashing and screaming, and I had to hold her down, and I just cried with her, it felt nearly unbearable. Because it is her hand she runs the risk of her hand growing deformed because of scarring. We are praying for her that everything will turn out alright. Sunday some family held a special fast for her, and we are very grateful to them for their love and prayers. BUT...despite the sadness of the hand, this didn't keep her down on her birthday, she was a beautiful happy girl who enjoyed everything! here are a few pictures from the event.

After a long fun party, the hair is out, the jammies are on, and she looks pooped, but she still wants more books:)
We went to the zoo the day of her birthday because it was free zoo day, and she loved it. The next few pictures are from that. It was funny, because every monkey that saw Emi came to the glass to see her. Maybe it was her bright green cast? :)

A few weeks ago we went to the fair. It was a good time together as a family. The girls LOVED all of the animals. It's so fun to go see them! Adi also got to do a few rides, so me and Emi watched her and Daddy and waved. They had a great time.

This is a picture of me and Caleb standing on the balcony in Venice! hehe, ok, the balcony in the Venice room in Destinations Inn. Caleb took me as a surprise earlier this month. It was a nice getaway, we always love going there!
We went to the park one evening with Caleb's sister and enjoyed playing for the night. It was good fun. Adi ALWAYS loves the park.
Emi thinks the slide is the best.
We had a BSU party on the first game VS Oregon. Some of you may have seen the game...AWESOME!!! Some of you others may have heard of the punch...also pretty awesome..hehe. Anyway, Dad was in town, and we went to craig's and watched the game. It was a blast. I took some orange salad, and we drank Blue juice, and Adi helped me make and decorate this cake. She was thrilled with how it turned out. She's such a cute little helper!
And they are both cute cheerleaders!

And the cake was so good, she was screaming for more! Anyway, here are some recent happenings. And Happy Birthday to my sweet little Baby girl once again!

Dancing, Farming, and Train Tracks!

FEW! It's been a busy couple of weeks. It's back to school, and although my kids aren't in school yet, it's been hectic because I was asked to watch a few of my friends kids after school and during the week. I have extra kids 4 days a week, and on my day off is Adi's dance, and my time to get some work done for Bookkeeping clients, and it's also Achievement days as well. Life is kind of hectic, but it's good. The girls really like walking to school to pick up the kids from kindergarten. At the end of the week I needed a break from watching kids though, so Caleb and I went on a date. It was a blast. We went to dinner and then to the Teton Spectrum Raceway and raced. What a good time! I'll post pictures later. They are on my phone, and I don't know how to do that. Oh, and Adelynn started her dance class today. It was really cute. She was so excited! She wanted her hair done like a ballerina of course, so I took some pictures of her on her first day. She went right in with her teacher, and she did pretty good. She definitely has a ways to go on the listening and learning part of things, but she will do great I am sure. After dance when I asked how come she didn't do a couple of things she said "I was having a hard time." haha! But she hasn't stopped talking about it yet, and she really liked her teacher, so I am sure it will be good. Here are some pictures of her on the big day.

On saturday we spent the day with a friend at her Grandma's house on the farm. Adi was so excited, and we had a SERIOUSLY great time. We even made fresh yummy salsa from my garden tomatoes! MMM! I can't think of a better time i've had in a long time. The kids were so content to play, and we got to cook. And their family is the nicest family I know, and I felt so welcome and loved. It actually made me a little home sick. It brought back great memories of being on the farm at my grandma's house when we were younger, and I was so glad me and me kids got to have that fabulous day! (that was a typo, but when I re-read it it made me laugh because I sounded irish, so I'm leaving it!)
Yummy fresh salsa!
This is her Grandma Carolyn. She's so sweet.
The kids liked riding the 4 wheeler!

EWWW! Pigs stink, huh Emersyn?!
Adi doesn't think so. Anything on the farm is great to her!
Especially popsicles on the farm!
And MOST especially, riding the ponies on the farm!
Emi was napping during pony riding, so she came home and rode the lamb. Pretty cool too!

One day this last week Adelynn was suppose to be napping, and when I checked on her I found her lining up all of her shoes in the hallway. I asked her what she was doing, and she said building a train track!
OH! Pretty awesome train track!
We had a slightly chilly day last week, and got some rain. I can't wait for fall and for things to cool off a bit. I love the fall, so I just liked this picture of Emi in her hoodie, and thought I would post it in hopes for a nice LONG fall season. She's so cute:)
