This time of the year is the best! I love all of the festivities, and parties, and activities that come with the Holidays. This year did not dissapoint. It's been such a blast having Adi just a little bit older to do these things with, and having Emersyn along has been great too

This week we made "funny face Pumpkins" together on Monday. I let Adi cut out eyes, and ears, and hair, and noses and mouths out of magazines, and then we re-created them onto her pumpkins making them "funny face pumpkins". We had a great time doing this. We both laughed our heads off.

Here is a random picture I just wanted to post. Adi's hair is finally long enough to pull up!!! HOORAY FOR US!

On wednesday we had a Halloween Party at Caleb's sister's house. It was a ton of fun, and everyone that went had such great costumes. Adi wore her fairy one to this party, although she didn't wear her crown, she ended up wearing her flower instead. They were both cute.

Caleb and I went as Vampires. All of the costumes were great though. We had everything from Pam and Jim (the office) to prince caspian, and fairies, and dinosaurs, and scary skeletons, and ninja's, and princess's and babies, and bucking bronco's, and 80's girl etc. It was great! Thanks for a great party Ani and Spence!
Also this week...

Adi and Daddy did some real carving of pumpkins too. Adi enjoyed this a lot as well. Totally messy, but way worth it!
And best of all was Halloween Night!! Trick-or-treating was great. My neighborhood had a trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot. Ariana and Spencer and their kids came with us. I was hesitant about it at first, because I am a traditional person and wanted to do the regular door to door thing, but it turned out awesome! Everyone was so festive, and it really was safe and fun. Adi caught right on to the whole idea, and just took off! She was very polite saying the appropriate "Trick-or-treat" and "thank you!". She got loaded too...towards the end she couldn't even carry her bucket, but when I tried to take it, she said "NO! Adi's!" So she just continued on dragging it. What are we going to do with all of this Candy?!

Adelynn went dressed as a little "Pirate Princess" Halloween night. It was a huge hit. She looked very cute and sweet.

Daddy went dressed like a hippie to work that day, so I dressed like a hippie too for that night(sorry, no pics of that). And cutest of all was little baby Emi as a Leopard.

Here is Adi with her friend Jace. He was so cute and wide eyed for the big event! He was running around, and really getting the hang of things too. I swear, candy is a 6th sense for kids. They totally know what it's all about! The best part was when he ran though, his little tail in the back even wagged!

Adi's cousin and good friend Nadia got to come with us. She was dressed as Lucy, because her brother was Prince Caspian, and her other brother was Aslan. It was real cute.

Later that night when we were handing out more candy to kids at the door, Adi wanted to be scary so she took off her pirate dress, and put on Daddy's scary mask and gloves. It was funny. She wasn't a big fan of all the scary costumes that she saw though.
Anyway, awesome first Holiday of the season, and I can't wait till Thanksgiving!!!
P.S. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa 'Boise' for the cards and candy you sent, and thank you Grandma and Grandpa Wall for the candy and the Happy Halloween Wishes. You helped make their Holiday great!
