Good Day

Saturday was a good day. I feel like I was able to accomplish so much, and I LOVE THAT! I was able to clean, and Adi was in an amazing mood, and even helped. The sun was shining beautifully, and the snow outside was melting while birds chirpped happily in my Willow Tree out front. Cheesy, I know, but it really was pleasant. Who's ready for spring after that?! Now taoday it's spritzing snow, and wet. I kind of like that too though....

While the girls napped I was able to do some work on the quickbooks, and I love when I can do that without interruptions. I get in my groove while listening to some chill music...and it's strangely relaxing. I was also able to work on some organizing in the office as well. It's coming along quite nicely, and Caleb has surprisingly been a great help with it all. Who doesn't need a little more organization in their lives though, really? It's been quite therapeutic for us both. It also allows us to dream up possibilities for future home improvement projects. It's fun.

After working on quickbooks, I had some more spare time to myself. The house was nicely clean, dishes done, laundry going, so I decided to put together a little something called a "Blessing Box". The idea is to write down a new blessing everyday and put them in the box. It's easy to get down and not focus on what we really have in our lives that is important, so if ever your having a day like that, open up the box and just see how much you have to be grateful for. I thought it was a cute idea, so I put some crafty idea's to work and came up with this:
It's not professional, I'm sure many of you could craft better, but I can't wait to set it neatly on my desk and start filling it up!

Then Saturday night we went and hung out with two of our very best friends, Caleb's brother Matt, and his wife Becca. We had a great time and stayed up till 3:00 in the morning. It was nuts, but fun. We had gone out to dinner with them the night before, and dinner just wasn't enough fun, so we carried the fun over. Good times! I know I say this all the time, but I just love having family who so happens to be friends too. It's great.

And to end on an even BETTER note, here are some much needed pictures of the 2 sweeties. Emersyn is growing so big. She loves her daddy, and playing with him is the funnest thing ever!
She tried rice cereal on her 4 month birthday. What do you think? Did she like it? hahah!

Here is Adi loving on her. She likes to tell me that Emi is awake, and crawl in the crib with her....even if Emi is really not awake:)
Snug as a bug in a rug. She smiles with her whole face. I love that face!
What a little princess. Dress up continues to be a big success with the girls!

Emi is just so beautiful! What sweet pictures of her. Adi is too, of course, but since most of these were of Emi... Anyway, I also hope Caleb was able to get his book thing done for the contest. I hope they pick him. I'll keep him in my prayers. Glad you had a good day!

The blessing box is AWESOME! I so need that. It's easy (for me) to get all caught up in everything that's going wrong, rather than right. What a great idea. Mine won't be as cute as yours though!

Cute pics!

Saturday was beautiful weather here, too. I loved it, because while my 1-year-old napped, the older four kids played outside and it left it nice and peaceful inside! :)
The blessing box is a great idea!

Those pictures are SOOOO cute. My nieces are the cutest ever! So I might be a little biased (spelling) but oh well, they are CUTE! Thanks for all your concern too by the way. Its hard but it makes it a little easier to have you mad too! LOL.

Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Siblings wake up the "already awake" babies who really need to be asleep? Funny.
