On Saturday we went to town(our regular porters trip included of course!), and while we were in town I found this material that I just loved and wanted to make dresses for the girls with, so I got enough material for dresses for them, and a shirt for Kira. They turned out great and we had loads of fun and laughs doing it.
I also got ribbon to match and made hairbows for them. Pretty cute!
I made headbands for the girls bows to attach to if they wanted as well.
Here are some cute little pictures of them in the finished products.
While my sister was here she made these TERRIBLE looking smoothies out of spinach for us, but insisted we try them because she just KNEW we would love them...and we totally did. Introducing my latest obssession...Spinach smoothies!
It's not like they are completely healthy for you, but I found that I really enjoy them and drinking a cup of these helps take the edge off of wanting that piece of cheescake!(which is all the time for me!) They are PACKED with Iron too, so that's really great. They are really easy peasy to make too. I use:
-about 3 handfuls of spinach
-1 handful of ice
-1 1/2 cups Rice Milk
-1/4 cup hazelnut creamer
-1 banana
You should try them. You might surprise yourself. Oh, and if you want, you can add 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to them too. Your choice on how healthy you want to be:) Although fair warning to you all right now, the kids like them too. I say this as a warning, because as we all know kids can be.........
you might end up with a nice neon green stain on your carpet. I know that looks like something else...sorry, but it's not I swear to you! Love you Adi:)
My Brother Craig lives on what we like to call "The Witters Ranch" because he has this minnie farm that we all LOVE, especially the kids. So we went out there the other day because Claire his momma goat just had babies! She had 3 which is really rare for goats, but 2 of them died. Very sad, but we are excited that Patrick(he was born on St. Patrick's day) is here!
Adelynn really enjoyed seeing them and playing at Uncle Craigs house. He is pretty cool. She was really nervous of Sebastian the Daddy goat, but got used to it and had a wonderful day out there. The sun was shining so nice and brightly, and so it proved to be a perfect day spent on the farm!
Emersyn liked the goats as well, but she tried to eat poor Patrick! Not sure why everything at this age has to go in the mouth, but it does...even animals!
Well there you have the latest update here at the Wall household, hope things are going good for everyone out there...by the way, after this little tease of warm goodness lately, anyone else ready for nice weather?!

The dresses and headbands look adorable. I didn't know you were such a good sewer. I am very impressed. I do not think I could do something like that without getting incredibly frustrated. The little farm looked like fun to. (remember everyone used to call me farmer in high school, fun times) Anyways I am coming home the end of April. I was just telling Crystal that it would be fun to all get together and do lunch before she moves. We will have to plan something.
I love the girls' dresses and bows--they turned out so cute! Good job! That baby goat is really cute too :) The spinach shake sounds interesting, but I could see it being pretty good! Hope you have a great day, love ya!

Those dresses and headbands are so cute and springy looking! I love the colors! You are so talented. Your girls look as adorable as ever, too.
I am impressed with those dresses! Way cute! They look even cuter on your girls! I'm not so sure about the spinach drink. I don't know if you have convinced me that that combo tastes good but maybe I will have to try it.
The farm pictures are darling. I love the baby animals in the spring. So cute! We can't wait for the warm weather either! Come on Spring! We had such a beautiful week and now it is snowing! Crazy!
Wow- you have become quite the domestic homemaker! Good job on everything. You know how to sew? Wanna teach me? Fun pics of the girls with the animals too. And you look FAB, girl! You're such a cutie. Coming to open gym next time? It's a blast!
Cute dresses! Aren't you just the little domestic one? (: Wish I could do it! Yeah, we put spinach in our shakes, too, and it is funny how you can't even really taste it.
Um, DIDO! (he he he). LOL Roni
Apparently I neglected to tell you all that although I cut material and measured etc....my mother is the domestic amazing one that is always helping us with these things. I like to pretend and to attempt, but really she deserves ALL OF the credit!
I am so glad you posted pics of Patrick! What a fun day that must have been. My kids were totally jealous! That was a great weekend, I am excited to see you in April. And I am glad you like my shakes! Kira is totally hooked on them now!
Mitchel says "ADI, ADI, Come play" I cracked up. He just saw her picture and piped right up! I LOVE the bows that you make. They are so beautiful and you are so talented!! Loved the little dresses too! Oh and the smoothy is great. THANKS. Never would of thought that though. Oh and that is the CUTEST little goat ever!! Love you all!
Your girls are so dang cute! I found your blog from Alli's. Looks like you are a busy mom. Nice work on the dress :)
That spinach shake does sound kind of good. I'll have to try it soon.
I didn't know you sewed! Those dresses are fabulous. The girls look so chic!
I bet I'd like the spinach shake. I like spinach. We'll have to give them a try!
I'm totally going to try the spinach smoothie. I make myself a smoothie every morning, and I'm needing something new!
The dresses are cute, even if your mom did do the sewing. Hey, that's the only way I'd get it done. ;)
I hope Patrick was ok after Emi tried to eat him. I hear that's a traumatic experience, to be nearly eaten.
