Here are some pictures of Adi's hair. I don't know if I've ever blogged about it, but she got her Mommy's curly hair, and as it grows, it's getting pretty cute. When it's not done, Caleb thinks she looks pretty homely with it being really wild, but when it's tamed, it's precious. We both think she's always adorable no matter what though.
We had a family movie night one night where we put out the mattresses in front of the TV and watched movies with the kids and ate caramel popcorn. It's fun. I got the idea from my friend Collette who is a super cool mom and awesome enough to do it. We tried it and LOVED it, and have done it several times now. I think my hubby likes it even more than the kids! Here is a pic of Adi and I before the fun begins. I think it's a cute pic because you can really see her excitement and anticipation, and how tired she already looks!
Emersyn really loves to eat her toes lately. She's growing so much!
Adi took a felt bag and decided it was a hat...:)
Another successful dress-up event. This is Adi and her cousin Taylor on another sleepover event.
Adi and her 2 friends Kayson and Logan chillin' in little sisters crib watching the mobile. Funny kids.
Emi lookin' all beautiful one Sunday after church. Love that smile!
Adi burned her arm on the Fireplace one day. It was really bad and REALLY sad. Here is a picture of it 3 days into the burn. It was starting to heal a little bit by this point. Poor girl!
Ucon has an anual Easter Egg hunt that totally rocks, and I have done it pretty much every year since I was 4, so it is super fun to keep the tradition alive with my girls. It's packed to the hilt, and slightly crazy, but I love it. I invited some in-laws to come too, and that was fun for Adi to have cousins and Grandparents there. I was totally planning on taking Emersyn in with me to let her pick up an egg, but in the end I left her with Grandma to watch, but here is a picture of her beforehand with her bunny hat on. SO CUTE!
Adi before they blew the fire-horn. Man, let's get this party started!
On the hunt...
Adi and cousin Nadia with their loot!
I LOVE my girls!
Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Walls house on Saturday night...Ready....Set...GO!
My sis in law Beck and I at dinner...I love her!
Momma sorted lots and lots of candy into eggs this weekend!
Apparently all of the excitement hadn't caught up to my hubby yet! Love ya hun:)
I am so grateful for Easter, and the chance to reflect about our Savior's love for us, and his atoning Sacrifice. I am grateful for the knowledge of his resurection, and the assurance that I can be together with my family forever. And Sunday was a beautiful day to celebrate this. Grandma Boise (witters) got them each a church book, and they love them (Adi especially since Emi kind of just wants to eat hers.) Thanks Grandma, and we LOVED the cards! The Easter Bunny came, and he is so cool, he even brought Adi a new bike and helmet and knee pads. We are so glad for this because Adi has been wanting one really bad, and Mommy and Daddy couldn't get it just yet. Thanks Easter Bunny!
Look at me, I am even cuter on the bike when I'm wearing my new dress and shoes!
Emi thought her basket and eggs were great too.
Adelynn told daddy he could ride her bike too. (good thing it's an actually relatively sturdy frame!)
We went over to Uncle Craig's farm again on Sunday to visit them and Patrick, and while we were there we hid some eggs and had quite a few hunts. Aunt Chelsey is so cool, and she took Adi to find real eggs in the chicken coup. Adi was SO excited when she found them she banged them together with her hands saying "YAY" and then was a little grossed out by them breaking and threw two of them on the ground! I guess she didn't get the memo that they were real! hahaha
Daddy and Uncle Craig were having just as much fun with the egg hunt, if not more!
And now here's the latest...
Today Adi's 2 friends Kayson and Logan were over again, and while Logan and I were upstairs feeding the baby, Kayson and Adi (both 2 years old...keep this in mind) were downstairs playing nicely and decided to color. They are such good colorers, and I love to encourage them in it. Creativity is good for children. Do you like their art work? (P.S. it's highlighters, and apparently the pink in permanent.)
As you can see they worked their way up the stairs until mommy washed Emersyn up blissfully unaware and came in to find them behind the couch finishing their masterpiece. Sadly I didn't hold up as awesomely as I wish I had. I think they knew they were in big trouble because the both went willingly to their time-outs. I cooled off for a minute and assessed the damage throughout the whole basement and up the stairs and then brought each one out one-by-one to be shown what they had done, and tell them that was a big no-no. When I talked to their mom Christi I wish I had been all cool, but it was still pretty fresh, and I am pretty emotional, so I cried. I'm retarded, I know. Luckily Christi and I know each other well, so she knows I am emotional. But the good news is I have cleaned it, and the permanent pink marker is now painted over, and my house looks lovely once again:) hehe.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. Happy Easter to you all!

I love your long updates! You make me smile with all your enthusiasm and stories, and all the cute things you do for your girls! The only problem with your long posts is that I forget all my comments! I love Adi's curly hair! What a doll. And I love the picture of Caleb on the bike- that will be one the girls will love when they look back at it!
Seeing your Easter parties makes me SO lonely for family. My siblings are all spread out and so we can't do all the holidays together. My Easter was so lonely! Be thankful for all the family you have close by. I am sure you are!
By the way, thanks for putting in a vote for Quincy!
I loved all of your pictures! Too bad we missed out on the awesome Ucon Easter egg hunt :( Looked like you guys had a great time and I couldn't believe what a nice day it turned out to be! Your girls are so cute and I love Adi's curly hair--lucky girl! Caleb's serious face and bike picture made me laugh! I loved the pictures of the crayon all over--Jace has done that, but not quite that bad!
So for the last pic's first. OMGosh... Those are some SERIOUSLY FAST 2 year olds. That was alot of ground to cover in a little feeding. WOW and you dealt with it very well, very well! You are looking great, a little tanned and in 4 days MORE tanned. How fun. Caleb looks good with the facial hair. Makes him look a little older, not so youngish. All the candy and Easter egg hunts look so fun. Love it. You are a great fun mom. I so need to step into that catagory. Ah heck maybe later! lol Love you all and it was great to have a catch up!!! Love the count down too! SO EXCITING!
I am sooooo sorry for my children, let me rephrase that. I am sorry for Kason. I have said it before and I will say it again, it is a good thing he is cute cause oh man is he a little terror! Let me know what I owe you for paint and labor and all of that good stuff! I am so sorry.
Stop feeling bad Christi, we can laugh about it now that I'm over the original horror and my house is back to normal:)
Cute curls... I would love to have a girl with curly hair, but it probably won't happen. My curls didn't show up until after having Tydon. I probably would have cried over the highlighter project too... Hope you have a blast on your trip!!
I get so excited when I see you have updated your blog. It is always so fun to read. I didn't realize that Adi had your curly hair. How adorable. It looks like you guys had a great Easter. You have to love Ucon. Thanks for the shout out on your blog. I was surprised and excited. You are too nice and I'm glad you like your 'movie nights' As for the highlighter on the wall can I just say I am glad those were not my walls. I don't know what I would have done but I'm pretty sure I would have lost it too. You gotta love kids. Also thanks for always leaving comments on my blog. It always makes me feel good.
P.S. Have fun in Cancun. Unfortunatley my trip to Idaho is right when you are in Cancun. So sad. Next time we'll have to get together for sure.
Your girls just get cuter and cuter. Wish we lived close, they would have a blast together I am sure.
I loved the picutres of Emi smiling! She is growing so fast. Adi's hair looked cute, and all your Easter pics looked way fun! I was amazed at the artwork! I thought I had pictured it but my oh my! They were fast! Glad you can laugh about it now. Have a great time in Cancun!
Your girls looks so cute in their Easter dresses. I wish I could see them more often, they are growing up so fast. Have fun in Cancun!
Sounds like a really fun Easter.
I am sooooo sorry about the coloring. I feel for you. I still have nightmares about milk and syrup all over my house:)
Adi's hair is so adorable. I love it! And thanks for helping me with my hair. I love that too. And now I hear Nadi screaming, so I'd better be off. Have fun in Cancun, in case I don't see you before that.
Cancun is going to be awesome, I am so excited for you! I wish I could go somewhere warm, how nice!!!!
Adi's hair is stinkin adorable! I love the curls! Her burn though, oh it made me hurt. Poor little thing!
Emi is getting so big and both girls are so beautiful! What a good looking family. I loved the update!
Drawing on the walls is the worst! Glad you got it all fixed up. Kids are so funny sometimes! (If funny's the right word!)
I'm impressed that you already got your wall washed up and painted over! It's amazing what two two-year-olds can do in such a short amount of time!
Did Adi's burn happen from a stove as in, the oven or stove-top, or as in a wood-burning stove? That looked very painful! :(
And, I loved all the cute pictures! Your girls are just adorable.
My goodness, I have beautiful granddaughters. Taylor and Adi share a very common hobby - they both love to play dress-up. Fun pictures!
I love that some one besides me does crazy long posts too. Aside from the burn & "art work" all over, looks like you guys have had tons of fun! You girls are getting so big & beautiful! I wish we could get our girls together!
