So, if you happen to stop by and visit soon and we have clothes lying out to dry on our back porch, and dishes stacked up, and bored kids...you'll know why... Although, I guess they also say "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." And along the same lines, "When life gives you rain, make rainbows."
So on the bright side of things, at least now with having to handwash dishes, they will be sparkly clean!
And with no dryer, our clothes will smell fresh right?!
And with no TV...well...no TV!

That stinks Ash! Our dryer bummed out on us a couple of weeks ago, but luckily that was the only thing! We got a great deal on a Maytag at Home Depot and we got free delivery, so you might want to check out there! Good luck and you'll have to show off your new appliances when you get them :) Love ya!

So sorry for your recent bad luck. Don't forget to check craigs list for some sweet deals. Especially here in Boise. I FEEL your pain! Trust me, I'm not trying to "one-up" you, but I know how you feel! We just had our well pump go out on us. Yeah, that's not a cheap one. Try $1500! And at the same time, our computer got a virus...Oh, and we've already replaced our water-heater, and our roof, within one year! Oh, the joys of home ownership, especially with an older home!
Oh no! Three of the most important things in the house!! (In my house, anyway!) And just in time for Pioneer Day (here in Utah) so you got to really get into character. :)

Ashley, you are more than welcome to use my dryer again any time you need. Sorry about the other two, but at least those aren't as necessary. I almost always hand wash my dishes. I prefer it, don't know why. Good luck with everything.
How crazy for you guys! That is such a bummer. It is so true...when it rains it pours! But you have a great attitude about it so good job. :) I don't think I'd be that way!
