The last couple of weeks

Well, most of you are probably not going to believe this, but it's true...We got a new Kitty! As you can see, Adelynn is HAPPY as can be. I've never really liked cats, and I use to tease my friend Crystal about her cat, but it turns out I have a daughter after her own heart, but these kitty's are pretty cute. Adi is completely smitten. She has been asking for one for a long time. We kept telling her No, but then Saturday she and I were walking out of a store, and there were these kitty's, and it was over from there.
This is Prince Louis. Adi put her Barbies crown on him!
Louis is Adi's favorite, she says "I'm your momma, do you love your momma? I love you!"
OH...we got 2 cats...hehe, we couldn't leave the other one! So yes, there are 2 new kitty's, and the girls love them. The other cat is Princess Giselle. Emersyn is a little rough with them, but she's learning. And Adi is very good at taking care of them and getting there food and water and putting them to bed at night. It's very sweet.
Adelynn started Preschool. I organized a cooperative preschool with several women in the area, and this is her on first day. So cute!

School starts at 9:00. It's a little early for her:)

They learned the letter B and the color red, so they got red Balloons. She was really excited about it.
We had the swine flu here at our house, as well as strep and hand foot and mouth...it was great. Well, on that Sunday we had started to recover, but weren't well yet, so we put the mattress up and let the girls play on it as a slide. It was loads of fun.
Woohoo!

I re-arranged the living room and the couch now lies underneath the window, so during the day the black gets really warm, and Adi and I LOVE to lay there and soak up some rays!
Emi loves food, and when we were eating some Ice Cream Cones, she wanted her OWN!
This is right after we got to remove Emersyn's cast. It healed very well, and everything is going to be fine!
The girls love to play the piano:)
Here is a cute picture of Emi with grandma. Grandma is showing off her cards, and Emi loved them. Emi mostly just loved Grandma I think.
Aww! Sweet cuddles! We miss you grandma!

Wow! that's a lot of stuff going on! The kitties sure are cute! I grew up with cats & loved them but always wanted a dog. That's why I have 2.
I'm glad all is going well with Emi's hand! Thank goodness!
Oh, & Adi looked soooo cute on preschool day. Love the outfit. LOVE the boots! where'd you get them?
It would be fun for them to play! Don't know how that would happen though???

You are the coolest mom, EVER! That's a pretty cute shot of the girls sliding down the stairs. Really, who actually sets that up for their kids? So cool...

How fun!! I wish I was there to play on the mattress too!! That is so much fun, did it with my sisters kids. Totally awesome. So glad to hear about Emi's hand. What a blessing. And congrats to our dear Adi for heading off to preschool. What a big, beautiful girl! Wish I was there to love them both.... So haven't heard much on the kitchen?? Is it finished yet? Oh and the kitties I was busting up laughing when I saw one and then died when I saw two! Funny how those little angels (kids) change our perspective! Thanks for sharing, we love it when our family blogs OFTEN!

Oh my goodness -- I can't show this to the Boys! If they get one look of the mattress going down the stairs I'm done for! Ha ha ha!

So how was the swine flu?

You are a good lil' momma. I'm sure Tydon would love a kitty, but I just can't bring myself to get one. Your girls are so cute and getting so big. Love the "first day" outfit so cute, makes me want a girl to dress ;)

I'm still in total shock that you have kittens. I can't believe it. It seems everyone is getting that swine flu. It's been a season of sickness so far, that's for sure. I'm glad you guys are on the mend.

Cute pictures! Adi looks so cute for her first day of preschool. Two kittens!! They sure are cute and I love how Adi takes such good care of them. I hope they aren't as hard as puppies. I don't think I will ever get another puppy as long as I live. They are SO much work! They get easier fast though.

Oh, I LOVE the kitties! It makes me want one. My cat is so big now, I think that it is time to trade him in for a smaller one. :) I love Adi's first day outfit, so cute! Oh, and sweet little Emi, she is an absolute doll. I will definitely stop by to see you next time I am in town, I can't wait to see Adi again and to meet sweet little Emi.

Ash your daughters are beautiful. They seem so sweet. I wish I could meet them. It sounds like you guys had it rough for a while with the sickness. I'm glad you're all doing better and that Em's hand healed well.

Wow, I also am not letting my kids see that mattress! :) You're such a fun mom.

As for the kitties, we also kept telling our older daughter no, and finally gave in during the summer. The kids all just love our kittie! And she (the cat) has been very patient with David. :)
