Shoe Fetish

I'm addicted to shoes...I'm admiting it. And you know what, I'd be willing to bet that 95% of you women out there are also addicted. However, my fetish has gotten a little out of control, I'll be the first to say it. They are taking over my house people! Anyway, I've been having dreams of organizing and labeling and getting myself put back together now that Christmas is over, and I've been dreaming of cleaning out my shoes...ick! What a daunting task! BUT...(drum roll please...) I did it. I went through the closet today, and WOOH! I feel so much better. I threw away 4 pairs of shoes, and got rid of over 20 more pairs. Welcome back closet space! Now I can't wait to start shopping so I can add some more new shoes to a nice new home! hehe

(I can hear you laughing as I'm typing mom...and I know you must be proud Aunt Andy!)
Also, If any of you out there are in need of some good shoes, I am getting rid of some really nice ones. If your a size 7-8 and want to take a look, let me know. They aren't all old and worn out, I just had to de-clutter some-how. There are a few Dr. Martens, some cute sequenced flip-flops, some tall fur lined boots in tan or brown, and even some great sunday shoes. I'm taking them to D.I. asap if I don't hear any takers.

P.S. Does any one else love this show and secretly wish this were THEIR closet?!

A girl can dream right?

I totally wish we were the same size! I am in need of flip flops for AZ! By the way, I can now tell my husband to stop complaining about my shoes because I have no where near that amount of shoes and he always sighs his sign of disapproval whenever I look at shoes because he thinks I have too many already. He just doesn't understand why I can't get by with a pair of athletic shoes and church shoes! Men!

Good job Ash! I don't even have 20 pairs of shoes and thats how many you threw out! But I do admit I'm a weird girl, especially in our family!

LOL! The OCD freak in me is very proud of you! Doesn't it feel great to purge them?! I love that feeling!

Honestly, I used to be a shoe girl but I just don't shop anymore & that did the trick.

I used to have a shoe fettish until I had kids. Now I don't have any money to buy myself shoes. Just reading your post makes me want to go shoe shopping. :)

I don't think I've ever owned that many shoes in my life! But I'll take a look at some of the shoes, just to see if they'd work:)

Sorry I have never understood girls and shoes... I am a girl I'm pretty sure, but I do not care about shoes.. Weird ah. I think it was my brother that wrecked it all for me. Yup, I'll blame him. He was IMPOSSIBLE to shoe shop for and it was endless tourment for all the other kids that had to be there. So though I don't understand, good job on attacking the tast! hehe

I'm with Rhonda. In fact, I'm so not addicted anymore that I just Goodwilled some too. Now my feet are naked, but I actually prefer them that way. Unless it's snowing out. Lucky for me it doesn't snow here.
