Dress up!

So Adelynn has started to hit the phase where she loves to undress and redress herself. She loves especially to get into the box of clothes that is full of old stuff, or stuff we haven't used yet, or will never use because it's just down right ugly. So the other morning as Caleb and I worked on his book blog, she was getting herself dressed for the day. This is what she came up with....the girls got flare, what else can I say?!Ensemble is completed with a pink onesie, a purple shirt that is way too small, (but by-golly it has a kitty on it!) a red kilt of some sort, and notice....Yes, those are brown gloves on her feet!Needless to say we went upstairs to her room and redressed with much cuter clothes, (she still got to pick) and then she hit the accessory mode and pretty soon we had pigtails complete with matching hair ribbons, and earrings too. See, she has it in her...just needs a little guidance every now and then!Man I love this girl!

Addie is such a doll! Her first outfit was awesome--she's going to be in fashion for sure! The picture of you 2 is too cute--you are too cute to be pregnant with only a month left! You better watch out or some hottie from Les Schwab will hit on you!!!

Yup, she is a riot. I thought we wouldn't have to start worrying about her "getting pretty" every morning until she was at least 12 or something. But, no... she has already started.
What are we going to do when she is 16???

What a funny little girl! I guess she shouldn't have any problems having a fun personality with the parents she has!

By the way, I found my bike trailer on craigslist. You should keep an eye on the bike and baby sections. They often pop up for a LOT better prices than brand new!

What a doll... I especially love the "NEW" style of gloves for shoes... oh and Caleb after reading ALL of the comments on my blog I am sorry but I DO NOT stand corrected. I think it made my comment more real when I stated "Geek God"... he he... whity tighty too!!

She is adorable, as always. Nadia loves to do the same thing. And Forrest too, sometime:) But usually in his daddy's clothes. I loved the glove shoes. They were my favorite.

The mittens on her feet were the best. Ha ha ha! And her little smile -- you know she's proud of what she's done!

Adi is growing up way too fast. She's not a baby anymore! I wish my girls would want to "accesorize" and do their hair- they fight me on it every morning. Good girl Adi!

I also loved the glove shoes. Somehow it made me think of duck feet.(Which I have been accused of having - by Dad!) We are having a great time with Adi today. She is wonderful and we too love her! And you!

Oh, and the fun REALLY starts when girls turn 16. Just try having your turn in the bathroom! :)
